Understanding Partially Resolved Product Data in Nacelle Dashboard

In the Nacelle dashboard, you may encounter missing products and a message stating "Showing 4 of 6 products for this collection. Product data is partially resolved."\

To resolve this issue, perform a re-index of all products. 

 

Why this Issue Occurs

Nacelle possesses awareness of the total number of products within a collection. This information is obtained from the Shopify API. However, the process of assembling a collection within Nacelle involves some background work.

Each collection is composed of individual products, and each of these products is essentially a reference to a product that requires indexing by Nacelle. This is why each item within a collection can contain a unique nacelleEntryId.

When a collection is created, but some of the products housed within this collection are not indexed by Nacelle, this is when you'll see this message.
