A wiser fellow than myself once pondered, how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
Today, we will answer a slightly less mysterious question, how many ways can Nacelle reindex data?
As you and the lollipop-wielding lad of old will learn, the answer is 3.
1. Individual Item Reindex: This will index that single item (product, collection, or content). Great for a very quick troubleshooting step, or to bring something up to date right away. As always, view the json to see exactly what's in the payload.
Note: In V2, please click the ellipses first to make visible the re-index button
V1:
V2:
2. Index Reindex: This runs a reindex event for the index you are viewing (all products, all collections, or all content).
This is great for bringing in new (hitherto un-indexed) data, and making sure that Nacelle contains the latest data for that index.
Note: For V2, knock on the ellipses' door to be greeted by the re-index all button

3. Connector Reindex
This is perhaps the least utilized method, and is actually the fewest button clicks to reindex all data. Read on, cutting-edge seeker of knowledge!
These buttons reindex all data for the 'connector', aka the system that Nacelle is connected to. Usually, this means "Shopify" (which would reindex products and collections), and the CMS (reindexes all content).
Note: The content connector reindex button performs identically to content index reindex button.
V1:
Click on the 'settings' tab, and scroll down until you see the 'save changes and index products' button. Click it to reindex all products/collections, scroll down a little further for the content reindex.
V2:
Click "Space settings" on the bottom left, click on the 'data connectors' tab on the top, and voila, both reindex buttons on one screen!
